Can't login to gmail with Safari
I found I couldn't login to gmail with Safari last week.
It also redirects to the login screen.
I changed cookie setting in Safari, but it didn't help.
Firefox is OK, so it's not a network problem.
Finally, I noticed the problem was in the PithHelmet.
PithHelmet has a cookie policy other than Safari's; I was thinking it only filters content.
Change it to "Use Safari cookie policy" solved the problem.

Just wanted to send you a quick "thank you" for posting this. I was having the same problem and turned filtering on and off to no avail. Was at a loss until Google turned up your post and I was alerted to the PithHelmet cookie settings. I should have noticed it right off the bat, but your blog post ensured that I didn't waste much time figuring out why I couldn't log in to Gmail (and Google Home, etc. etc.)
So thank you.
